The Electronics and communication Technocrats Association (ECTA) is the student's association of the Department of Electronics and Communication, Christ College of Engineering. It was established in the year 2016. The technical events comprise of several workshops such as Tinkercad, Emdedded workshop, Catia and Ansys, Image processing, VLSI and FPGA, Machine learning. The Alumni continue to contribute to this forum by guiding their juniors on academics, placement and career.

As it is World Cup fever all around, π—˜π—–π—§π—” students association conducted an all Kerala Penalty SHOOTOUT 5's Tournament today at our campus. We had a total of 24 teams participated including teams from outside. The tournament was inaugrated by our dearest Executive Director Rev. Fr. John Paliyekara CMI and the inaugural match was between CCE Staff and hostellers.

Students actively participated in crafting Rosary beads embedded with LEDs, blending artistic design with electronic components. Extensive market research and analysis were conducted to understand consumer preferences and identify potential markets. Students played an integral role in marketing and selling the unique Glowing Rosaries, gaining valuable experience in customer interactions.

The talk included information on scholarships, financial aid, and funding options available to international students, making higher education abroad more accessible.

The Student Master Program "PCB-Workshop" was organized by ECTA to offer students a comprehensive understanding of PCB design and fabrication. PCBs are fundamental components in modern electronics, making it crucial for students to acquire proficiency in this area. Students were introduced to PCB design software, learning how to create schematic diagrams and convert them into PCB layouts.

Students from the Department of ECE actively collaborated in teams, competing against each other with their robotic soccer players.
