About

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) at Christ College of Engineering was established in 2023 with an AICTE-approved intake of 60 students per year. Affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) Thiruvananthapuram, the department is committed to fostering a learning environment that blends theoretical foundations with practical applications in Data Science. With a strong focus on data-driven decision-making, ethical AI, and innovation, the curriculum is designed to equip students with the skills needed to excel in industries driven by Big Data, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. The department offers state-of-the-art infrastructure, including a Center of Excellence in AI and Data Science lab, smart classrooms, and access to leading research publications. In addition to academics, students benefit from hands-on projects, industry collaborations, expert lectures, and professional development programs, ensuring they are well-prepared for careers in Data Science and related fields.
