under-water vehicle challenge competition organized by IEEE oceanic engineering society

The team had presented the under-water robot in the Singapore under-water vehicle challenge competition organized by IEEE oceanic engineering society, National university of Singapore.

ROV MANIA – WAVEZ’23

ROVMania Competition organised by the Department of Ocean Engineering , IIT MADRAS

A total of 11 teams with 43 members were registered for the competition which was mentored by Mr Sunil Paul. After the hard work of one week, we completed our surface boats and started our journey along with Dr Arun Augustin ( Professor at Christ College of Engineering) and Ms Athira E ( Research Associate of Christ College of Engineering) and Ms Adithya S (Research Associate of Christ College of Engineering). Eleven teams from Christ College of Engineering participated in this event and 6 teams were selected to the second round. This event was a great experience and event was a very high-quality event.

Kerala State Council for Science Technology and Environment:Techfest 2022

Techfest-2022

TECHFEST-2022 is jointly organized by KSCSTE with CUSAT during 26-28, October 2022 at the CUSAT Campus.Our team received a Cheque of Rs. 10,000/- towards the Bronze prize in KSCSTE TECHFEST-2022.Compared to to most of the projects, the build quality of all the projects presented by Christ College of Engineering was excellent. Out of the 42 projects exhibited from all over Kerala, 6 were from Christ College of Engineering, Irinjalakuda.

Autonomous underwater robotics

This event is considered one of the top 3 underwater robotics competitions in the world. After a year-long preparation, we were able to get into the finals in 2022.Autonomous underwater robotics is an exciting challenge in engineering, which participants will get to experience at SAUVC.This event was the first international technical event participated by Christ College of Engineering Irinjalakuda.The Team Name: Oceanus consist of Chitralekha M P -S6 CSE, Narasimha Thejas M P -S6 ME,Ajmal V A-S6 EEE,Alphymol Joy -S4 CE

Hestia is the amalgamation of talent, creativity and innovation binded by the passion of students of TKMCE.There were two teams which participated in Techfest and won many prizes.The First Runners Up of Line Follower Robot Competition were John Peter,Sonu P S,Romal Jackson ,Alrin Renny.The Second Runners Up were Nidhish T,Faiza K I,John Anto,Sudev T S.

TRACADOR, the exciting program conducted by IEEE RAS SBC MITS & IEEE SB MITS as part of techfest SHRESHTA .Christ College of Engineering Irinjalakuda won all the prizes of the event.

IIST Techfest

This event was the first such experience for first-year students. They performed really well and three teams were selected for the finals and one team was able to reach 4th position in their first competition.

Line Follower Robot Competition

Twenty-four students participated from Christ College of Engineering and won all the prizes in the Line follower robot competition.This was the first physical event we participated in after the lockdown.
