The Student’s Union is a representative structure for students, through which they can become an integral part in governance and administration for all student activities taking place in the institute. Christ College of Engineering has an active academic calendar with activities to engage students in a wide spectrum of fields, be it sports, cultural activities or technical activities. The Union plays an important role in managing all these activities. By working closely with the administration, the Student’s Union provides a platform for the students to reach to the concerned authorities. The Union strives to work in a coordinated manner as a well- functioning team. The functions and responsibilities of the Student’s Union are: * To act as a liaising body between administration, students and parents. * To provide a forum for students to raise their opinions on relevant issues. * To encourage students to become self-confident, responsible and to create a more caring atmosphere. * To create a conducive environment for their academic, extracurricular and socio-cultural excellence. * To maintain transparency in all the student activities in the college.
