Amphitheatre
A circular or oval area of ground around which rows of seats are arranged on a steep slope, for watching plays, sports, etc. outside.
CNC
CNC stands for computer numerical control and these machines play an important role in the manufacturing industry. These complex machines are controlled by a computer and provide a level of efficiency, accuracy and consistency that would be impossible to achieve through a manual process.
Auditorium
The Open Auditorium at CCE is where public gatherings take place, accomplishments are felicitated, and performances are showcased. Many eminent dignitaries and celebrities have graced the gatherings here; and this is the place where we have been publicly acclaimed for our academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular achievements in our short span of existence. The Auditorium is the place to be during Cultural fests and Association days when it is lit up with vibrant performances and activities.
Facilities for Differently abled
Our college is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible environment for all students. To support differently-abled individuals, the campus is equipped with ramps for easy access to buildings, wheelchairs available on request, and a lift for convenient movement between floors. These facilities ensure that every student can navigate the campus with ease and dignity.
Intel Unnati AI Server
The Intel® Unnati AI Server established at Christ College of Engineering (Autonomous), Irinjalakuda, is a high-performance computing platform designed to support Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, and data-intensive research. The server provides the computational infrastructure required for training and testing AI/ML models, processing large datasets, running deep learning experiments, and developing advanced AI applications. Central Computing Facility
The Central Computing Facility serves as the focal point of computing resources, which are shared by all the departments and College office. The working hours of this facility is from 8.00 am to 3:30pm on all College working days. The Central Computing Facility has a total of 60 computers in a single lab interconnected via LAN. The CCF is equipped with an online UPS system which supports the uninterrupted power supply to the facility including the network.
Board Room
The Boardroom at CCE is one of those places where key meetings take place. Be it the meeting of the members of Christ Educational and Charitable Trust, or the Governing Body of CCE meeting up, or simply our College’s Academic Council meeting; the Boardroom is where key decisions having far-reaching consequences are taken. This room has been a mute witness to many a visionary and at the same time comprehensive discussions. Not many actually get to sit around the sprawling long table here.
New Modern Turf Facility
The college is enhancing its sports infrastructure with the development of a new modern turf facility, which is currently under construction
CLASSROOMS
The institution has 38 well-maintained , spacious and adequately ventilated classrooms which are all ICT (Information and Communication Technology) enabled. All classes have speakers to provide common announcements. Interactive boards are placed to provide a conductive environment for effective teaching and learning.
Central library
The library occupies a prominent position and it is an important and integral part of the teaching programme. It is not merely a depository of books, but an active workshop instrument in the production of or original thinking. The aim of college education and college libraries in inter-related. College library extends opportunities for self-education to the deserving and enthusiastic students without any distinction. These libraries develop in each student a sense of responsibility.
Basket Ball Court
College has basket ball court. Some sports/games facilities such as cricket/football/Athletic grounds are shared with other institutions in the neighbourhood which are under the Christ Educational Trust.
St. Thomas Hall (Main Auditorium)
The college provides well-equipped spaces for academic, cultural, co-curricular, and institutional activities, including the St. Thomas Hall (Main Auditorium), available in both the old and newly developed facilities. The new St. Thomas Hall has a seating capacity of approximately 2,000, making it suitable for large-scale academic programmes
SEMINAR HALLS
The college has dedicated seminar halls, including Christ Hall, Conference Hall, and St. Therese Hall, equipped to support a wide range of academic and professional activities. These halls provide suitable spaces for seminars, workshops, guest lectures, conferences, faculty development programmes, and student presentations. The facilities promote interactive learning, knowledge sharing, and meaningful engagement among students, faculty, experts, and industry professionals.
Discussion Room
For small-group discussions, academic interactions, project reviews, mentoring, and collaborative learning.
CANTEEN
A new canteen facility has been constructed on the campus to provide students and staff with convenient access to food and refreshments. Based on student feedback and increased demand, the canteen facility is currently being extended to provide additional space and improved services. The ongoing expansion aims to enhance seating capacity, convenience, and the overall campus dining experience
Hostel
The college provides separate boys’ and girls’ hostel facilities to offer students a safe, comfortable, and supportive residential environment. Both hostels have been recently renovated to improve the quality of accommodation and enhance student convenience
Campus Cafe
The college provides dedicated cafeteria facilities through Christ Café and Cake Farm, offering students and staff convenient access to refreshments and snacks within the campus. These facilities provide comfortable spaces for students to relax, interact, and refresh between academic sessions.
VENDING MACHINE
The college has two vending machines strategically located on the campus to provide students and staff with easy access to refreshments and essential items. One vending machine is installed at the St. Mary’s Block, while the other is located near the St. Chavara Block.
PARKING
The college provides dedicated parking facilities within the campus for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
SOLAR
The college has installed solar panels as part of its commitment to promoting renewable energy and sustainable campus development.
SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT UNIT
The college has established a Solid Waste Management Unit to promote responsible and sustainable waste management practices on campus. The system includes Eco Compost for the effective management of biodegradable waste and dedicated plastic segregation to facilitate proper collection and recycling
RAIN WATER HARVESTING
The college has implemented a rainwater harvesting system to collect and conserve rainwater generated within the campus. The facility supports the efficient utilization of rainwater and contributes to groundwater recharge and sustainable water management
