The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is an international professional body that work with a vision in promoting the art, science, and practice of multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences around the globe through continuing education, training, and professional development, setting the codes and standards, research, conferences and publications, government relations, and other forms of outreach. ASME CCE Student Chapter was inaugurated on 29th October 2020.

Event List 2020-21

ASME student chapter conducted a hands-on 3D printing workshop on 3rdDecember 2020 at Christ College Of Engineering, Irinjalakuda. Mr. Rahul Manohar, Nodal Officer of IEDC College Of Engineering, Irinjalakuda was the resource person.Over 42 students took part in the workshop with great zeal.It provided a deeper insight into the innovative world of 3D printing from its basic software to its real life application enabling participants to breach the gap between imagination and technology.

Event List 2021-22

ASME student chapter conducteda technical expo and workshop in association with Kerala Fire and Safety Department, on various fire and safety equipment on 6th May 2022 at Christ College OF Engineering, Irinjalakuda. Over 100 plus students participated in the expo. It provides an opportunity to learn the use and operation of various kinds of fire and safety equipment. Also, all the officersdemonstrated the basic drills to counteract an emergency, if it may occur.

ASME IN ASSOCIATION WITH IETE

The ASME, in collaboration with IETE, proudly presents a captivating talk on "Space and Entrepreneurship" featuring Mr. Anand P M, Scientist-SG 7 and Deputy Project Director of SSLV at VSSC, ISRO. This illuminating session delves into the intersection of space exploration and entrepreneurship, offering a unique perspective from a distinguished expert in the field.
