Industry Visit
S7 EEE have visited the Karikkadav Tribal community as a part of project work, aimed to support the production unit which converts the forest resources into usable products. Our students have identified eight problems from the discussion with the villagers and they are in a planning stage to implement the same.

S7 and S5 EEE students participated and conducted the Battery Energy Storage System Survey in Perinjanam Panchayath, under the IEI EEE Student Chapter of Christ College of Engineering from August 24th to August 30th.

SEP on PLC Programming
Dept. of EEE has successfully completed a 4-day SEP on PLC Programming (Basic) for S4 EEE. Engineers from SMEC Automation Pvt. Ltd., Kochi, delivered the sessions on PLC Programming for Allen Bradley PLC with a one day Industrial Visit to the company.

Dept. of EEE has successfully completed 4-day “Hands-on Training on AutoCAD (Electrical)” for S4 EEE. Resource persons from CADD Centre Irinjalakuda delivered the technical sessions along with additional 10 Hours of Refresher Sessions.

Job Oriented Inplant Training
Dept. of EEE has successfully completed a ONE week Job Oriented Inplant Training for S8EEE at SMEC Automation Kochi. The major areas of training include Electronic System Security, PLC-Automation and Embedded Systems. The sessions with hands on experience and practical exposure, motivated the students in achieving core sector jobs.

Dept. of EEE* has organised a *Knowledge Sharing Session* based on the *Energy Audit Survey* conducted at Perinjanam Panchyath in the last semester. The technical experts from *ASAR Social Impact Advisors Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore* have delivered the sessions which ignite the EEE students and faculty members to utilise the survey information for research and development activities related to *Community based Battery Energy Storage Systems*.
