AI Model for detecting human emotions
Extremely happy to inform you that two students, Abin Stanislaus and Abraham Joseph from 1st year ECE have won the third prize in 'Google Al Campus Fest' organised by Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology. The task was to develop an 'AI Model for detecting human emotions' in TensorFlow platform. The project developed by our students was adjudged as the third most accurate model in a contest participated by about 500 students. They were presented with headsets worth Rs. 3500 each.

Hardware Hackathon
students from EC won the title in Hardware Hackathon conducted at Sahrdaya College in association with CDAC, Trivandrum. They received a cash prize of Rs. 10,000.

Student Startup
We are thrilled to announce that five of our ECE students Daniel, Praise, Rohan, Abin, and Amal have successfully registered their startup, Wi-DAP which focuses on developing and offering services related to Internet of Things based (IoT) products. Start-up will be operating under the Christ FIoT Lab and TBI Christ College of Engineering. The Wi-DAP team is gearing up to launch their first product, WILL. WILL is a customizable 3D printed Wireless Inauguration Lighting Lamp.

ECE 2021-25 BATCH
Consultancy Project
6th semester ECE students Romal Jackson, Alrin Renny, Benpaul Benny, Astin Shibu, Abel K T and Goutham V P led by Sibinlal Sir along with industrial expert Sreeni Sir completed a Consultancy Project of 2-4 KVA off grid solar power plant worth 1.5 lakhs. Students acquired onsite training in the installation of a complete solar power system with indepth knowledge in inverter technology. As a part of this work, students assembled a custom 4KVA inverter from scratch.
