Industrial Visit of 2021 Batch
An Industrial Visit to "Kerala Electrical and Allied Engineering Co. Ltd",Mamala, Kochi was organised by the Second semester,Electronics and Communication Department of batch 2021-2025 on Friday, 8th July 2022. The 52 students with two facilities visited KEL mamala to gain knowledge about transformers and its manufacturing. KEL is a multifaceted company fully owned by the State Government.

Industrial Visit of 2019 Batch
The 56 students of the S6 Electronics and Communication Engineering batch of 2019-2023 started the Industrial Visit on 08/07/2022 at 07.00am to KEL. After our breakfast we started our journey to the KEL electrical and allied engineering company, a Kerala Govt. undertaking private limited company Edarikkod, Malappuram. Kerala Electrical & Allied Engineering Co. Ltd., also known as KEL, is one among the largest productive public sector undertaking, fully owned company by the Government of Kerala.

Industrial Visit of 2020 Batch
As a part of our industrial visit, we were able to visit one of the five manufacturing plants of ITI LTD that is located in Palakkad, Kerala on 02/07/22. We were a group of 49 students and two faculty. The visit was aimed to enhance the knowledge of the students. By the end of the visit, we were able to gain more knowledge about PCB boards and their making.

Industrial visit to C-MET
A group of 50 students from S6 ECE conducted a Industrial visit to C-MET, Thrissur today. Students could understand how various electronic devices are fabricated starting from the material level, how they are integrated and evolved to practical applications. Thanks to Tony sir and Linto sir for this initiative.

INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO CHETANA SOUND STUDIO, THRISSUR
2019 batch students visit Chethana studios, Thrissur ECE Department organized a one day industrial visit to Chethana Sound Studios, Thrissur for S4 ECE students. It was an opportunity to study various acoustic techniques used to enable quality recording and reproduction of music and audio for professional requirements.

Industry interactive session: Advancement in Electronics Design
On November 26, 2022, ECTA organized an Industry Interactive Session focusing on the "Advancement in Electronics Design." It was attended by the following batcheds:2020-2024, 2021-2025, 2022-2026. ECTA had the privilege of hosting two distinguished experts from the Center for Development of Telematics (CDOT), Sachin K.V, Senior Research Engineer, and Mr. Karthik Krishna, Research Engineer.

On February 28, 2023, ECTA organized an insightful industrial visit to the CMET in Thrissur which was attended by the 2020-2024 batch. This visit provided students with a unique opportunity to gain practical exposure to the electronics and materials technology industry. Mr. Tony C. Thomas led the visit as the faculty in charge.

The industrial visit to Kerala Electrical & Allied Engineering (KEAE) in Malappuram, organized in association with ECTA for the student batch of 2019-2023. The students had the opportunity to explore various sections of the KEAE facility, gaining exposure to manufacturing units, research laboratories, and testing facilities.

IETE Foundation Day Celebrations & talk on skill development
The 68th IETE Foundation Day celebrations of IETE Kochi Centre was organized on 20th November 2021 hosted by ISF unit of Christ College of Engineering, Irinjalakuda in online mode. Mr Tony C Thomas, Staff Coordinator of ISF unit of the host institution welcomed the gathering. The foundation day message from President, IETE was read by Mr. M N Narayanan, Vice-Chairman, IETE Kochi Centre. Fr John Paliakara CMI, Executive Director, Christ College of Engineering, Irinjalakuda, delivered the opening.

Pro Talks -1 , COVID 19 AWARENESS
A group of students from the third semester of Electronics and Communication Engineering department has launched a short video series ‘Pro Talks’ on Instagram. The series focuses on eminent persons from multidisciplinary areas answering questions of ECE students. The video series is aimed at providing students with an opportunity to learn from prominent individuals from various fields. The students ask questions about the individual's field of work and their journey for aspiring students.

Industry visit to CMET, Thrissur
A group of 50 students from S6 ECE visited the Thrissur Laboratory of C-MET, 28th Feb. 2023. CMET was observing ‘Open Day’ as part of National Science Day. Students visited various laboratories and facilities, as well as projects and products related to various areas, viz., Microwave dielectrics, Multilayer Ceramics, Actuators and Sensors, Nanomaterials and thin films, Aerogels and Graphene supercapacotors etc..They could understand how various electronic devices are fabricated .

Fifty six students of the S6 Electronics and Communication Engineering batch (2019-2023 ), along with faculty members Dr. Caren Babu and Mr.Tony C Thomas started the journey to visit KEL on 08/07/2022 at 07.00am. Kerala Electrical & Allied Engineering Co. Ltd., also known as KEL. Experts in the industry explained about the manufacturing parts, winding of transformers, its transportation, procedures for casting using design, testing and different types of necessity and their differences etc.

Industrial Visit to "Kerala Electrical and Allied Engineering Co. Ltd",Mamala, Kochi
It was organized by the 2nd semester,Electronics and Communication Department of batch 202 2022. The 52 students with two facilities visited KEL on Friday, 8th July 2022.To gain knowledge about transformers and its manufacturing. The company manufacturers and markets the products like general purpose brushless alternators for lighting and air conditioning of rail coaches, medium power and distribution transformers as well as structural steel fabrications.

Value Added Course on Embeded Robotics & IOT, Prototype using Tinkercad
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in association with IEDC conducted a four days Value Added Course session for the first year 2022-2026 batch from 7th November, 2022. This workshop was conducted to make the students known about what is happening in the world of Electronics and Communication. The resource persons for the workshop were Mr. Rajiv T. R. and Ms. Sreelekha T, Assistant Professors at CCE.
